  • How do I pay to dispose at ERL?

Credit card is the only form of payment accepted at ERL. Customer’s loads may be evaluated by yardage or tonnage, depending on a variety of factors.

    *This answer applies to:

  • What is the process when I arrive at the ERL MRF?

After entering through the gate, scalehouse personnel will evaluate your load and determine the yardage or whether or not the load needs to be scaled. If measured by yardage, credit card payment will be collected and a receipt returned. Then you will be directed to the proper area to unload your items. Customers are responsible for unloading their items.

  • What if the scalehouse determines my load must be weighed?

Scalehouse staff will direct you to the scale side of the line, where your vehicle/load will be weighed incoming. Then you will be directed to the proper drop-off area. After unloading, you will return towards the scalehouse and be weighed outbound, where you will pay by credit card and be issued a weigh ticket receipt.
